When Sajid Khan arrives at his job at Heathrow airport, he is quickly tackled by armed guards. Aliyah, his teenage daughter, whom he knew was traveling abroad, is a suspect in a terrorist attack that took place mere days ago in a mall in Los Angeles. Sajid thinks this must all be a mistake. A lie. But Aliyah wont pick up her phone. And now her face is plastered all over the news. Sajid could not be more frightened or feel more powerless. That is, until he hears a knock at his door and is greeted by a middle-aged American woman claiming that she believes Sajid's daughter and her own son, Greg, are mixed up in the same dangerous game. And she has a hunch for where they might be. With just scraps for clues, the two parents and unlikely accomplices traverse the globe, in a desperate search for their children.
